Tips For Summertime House & Garden Tips

Your Summertime House Prep And Cleaning

Hi again! I hope your week is going great! Summertime fun can include prep, cleaning your house, and working on your garden! Maybe you have company coming over for a birthday party of celebration? Well make sure to prep your home during the summer. The summertime sunshine and temperatures allow for you to clean your house. You also have this wonderful opportunity to really prep your backyard, and even create a garden if you do not already have one!

The best parts of prepping your home include giving yourself some space and time to collect all of your thoughts together and possibly make note of what needs to be cleaned. Make sure to pay attention to details too. You can make note of the areas, items, and appliances that need cleaning. Make note of what supplies you can obtain from your local store for cleaning. And make note of items to buy, appliances to replace, or gardening supplies.

You can make your supply list, which includes sanitizing wipes, cleaner, soap, cloths, dust brooms with dust pan, and other cleaning supplies. While you in the moment of buying cleaning supplies, what about buying items that will make your house become beautiful for your summertime comfort?

You can find great items such as updated lamps, new furniture, and art. Summertime is the best time to decorate and prep your house. You can find art and decorations to make your house become a beautiful atmosphere of positivity. Summertime colors can include mixing greens with yellows and reds. Make sure to look at colors and pay absolute attention to the different shades of each color. Take all of your time to learn about colors complement each other and what colors you can make your house feel inviting.

The energy that you use to prep your house will definitely reflect the final results. You can clean and prep. You can add pleasant scents too! You can add plants. You can even take time to clean out your garage and basement areas. Cleaning and house prep can be fun activities. Cleaning areas can allow for room for you to build your own music studio, art studio, or wood workshop! There are a lot of benefits for house prep during the summertime. You can also create a lovely garden with a simple walkway in your backyard. Now it’s time to prep, clean, and get creative!

Summertime House Prep: To Do

Important summertime house prep includes reviewing your air conditioning unit and making sure that it works properly. This is important and very simple to do! Other areas of high importance can be located in your kitchen area. You can clean your cabinets, and throw away old food. Also, check your refrigerator for any expired foods or beverages. An easy to miss spot is your freezer and ice maker. You can easily clean these out. Throw the old and expired away. Please make sure to recycle.

One important way to remember recycling is that anything plastic can be recycled. Make sure to have a separate bin handy for trash items and another bin handy for recycling items. To make this easier for you and your family, you can set aside a green or blue colored bin that can be designated as the recycling bin. This will help greatly help your local environment.

Next, other summertime house areas to prep and clean include your laundry room. This can be just wiping away dust and even checking your appliances. You can find special kits to clean your appliances too! Also, if you have any plants inside your house, make sure to keep them hydrated during the summer. Make sure that your plants have nice shade and sunlight too. It’s always important to check out your plants and clean them up with new potting mixes. You can also buy new pots from your local store and even decorate the pots. Make your plant pots become part of your house. Add to them and design them!

Backyard, Garden, and Outside

So it’s summertime and now it’s the absolute perfect to go outside and enjoy nature from the comfort of your house and property. Let’s check the areas of your house and property. We want to do this, because we want to make sure to cover all areas and help you make your house prep go great!

You obviously have a front yard and backyard. Next, you possibly have an area for a porch and an area for a garden. If you do not have a porch area of garden, these are really easy and fun to install during the summertime months! The best parts of planting and working on a garden, include being able to organically grow your own food! Another positive to gardening and growing plants is that you can modify your front and backyard areas to include areas of shade and block unpleasant views. Plants also allow for you to create a place that is quiet from loud noises. Plants bring more oxygen into places and they can grow a lot if you take care of them properly.

When it comes to gardening and planting, I would take a step back and learn some plants that grow during the summertime months. You can check your local store in the gardens and plants section to learn more about supplies and find seeds. Just simply take your time and make this a fun activity during your time and weekends! Remember to always keep hydrated during these hot and warm summertime months. When you garden outside, you will want to take breaks periodically. Remember that you can always garden at a later time. Also, remember to keep your plants hydrated and to water them periodically too.

To make sure your plants are growing healthy, cut away weeds, and water your plants. Create a list of when good times are to water your plants. This will save you time from thinking and worrying about whether if your plants are staying hydrated and are healthy.
