Home Sales Decline 11.99% In Albuquerque August 2014
The number of Albuquerque New Mexico homes sold decreased by 5.18% to 549 homes in August 2014 compared to 579 homes in August 2013.
The number of Albuquerque New Mexico homes pended declined by 5.64% to 569 in August 2014 compared to 603 homes in August 2013. Pended homes is defined as the buyer and seller have agreed to terms on the sale of the home. However, the transaction is not complete and is an indicator to future home sales in Albuquerque.
The total inventory of homes for sale in Albuquerque increased by 14.91% to 2,952 in August 2014 compared to 2,569 in August 2013.
The number of new Albuquerque NM homes for sale increased by 11.76% to 990 in August 2014 compared to 893 in August 2013.
The Albuquerque housing market experienced a huge increase in the number of homes on the market, a huge increase in the number of new listings, and a reduction in the number of homes sold in August 2014. This is good news for home buyers and bad news for sellers of homes.
